Tato evropská norma určuje metodu stanovení vratné duktility asfaltových pojiv v duktilometru při zkušební teplotě (obvykle 25 °C nebo 10 °C; lze použít i jiné teploty). Je použitelná zejména pro asfaltová pojiva modifikovaná termoplastickými elastomery, může se však použít u dalších asfaltových pojiv s malou elasticitou.
