A1 Tato norma se zabývá ukončením ocelových drátěných lan, konkrétně očnicemi pro ocelová lana především z hlediska bezpečnosti. Předmětem normy jsou požadavky na nesvařované ocelové očnice pro všeobecné účely, vyrobené z plechu, pro šestipramenná nebo osmipramenná lana od průměru lana 8 mm do průměru lana 60 mm. Provlékané očnice a nedělené očnice nejsou předmětem této normy. Splněním požadavků této normy je zajištěna shoda s bezpečnostními požadavky směrnice pro strojní zařízení.
