Tato evropská norma je jednou z řady norem týkajících se dřevěných podlahovin a dřevěných stěnových a stropních obkladů. Stanovuje vlastnosti mozaikových parket z rostlého dřeva pro použití jako podlahovina v interiéru. Stanovuje třídění podle vzhledu, rozměry a další vlastnosti lamelek mozaikových parket, skladebných čtverců, parketových montážních sestav a tabulí mozaikových parket, s povrchovou úpravou nebo bez ní. Je založena na současných rozměrových standardech v průmyslu a dalších vlastnostech spolu s funkcemi, které byly ověřeny zkoušením. Vzhled parket je ovlivněn zejména dřevinou, klasifikací a vzorem.
