Tato evropská norma platí pro ochranné prostředky dýchacích orgánů. Obsahuje seznam výrazů, které jsou v oblasti ochranných prostředků dýchacích orgánů často používány. Tyto výrazy jsou uvedeny ve třech oficiálních jazycích CEN - anglicky, francouzsky a německy a jsou uvedeny ve třech oficiálních vydáních vždy v příslušném abecedním pořádku.
