A1 Tato norma stanoví všeobecné požadavky na ergonomické vlastnosti, technické parametry, nezávadnost, rozměry (velikosti) a pokrytí ochranných prostředků pro brankáře pozemního hokeje poskytujících ochranu horních končetin (rukou, předloktí, paží), horní (hrudníku) a dolní (břicha) části trupu, dolních končetin (nohou, bérce, stehna) a genitálií, a také na chrániče holeně (bérce) pro ostatní hráče pozemního hokeje. Dále stanoví požadavky na značení ochranných prostředků a na návod k používání od výrobce. V normě jsou popsány příslušné zkušební metody a stanoveny třídy (úrovně) ochrany.
