Tato norma určuje referenční zkušební metodu pro stanovení odolnosti pórovitého kameniva (LWA), podle EN 13055, proti rozpadu, používanou při zkouškách typu a v případě pochybnosti. V jiných případech, konkrétně při kontrole řízení výroby, se smí použít jiné metody s podmínkou, že jsou vhodné a podobné stanovené referenční metodě.
