Tato norma uvádí obecné požadavky, které platí pro specifikaci použitelné k upřesnění všech typů pultrudovaných (tažených) profilů podle předmětu části 1 ČSN EN 1370, specifikuje také vlastnosti, které je třeba sledovat při přípravě zkušebních těles pro stanovení mechanických vlastností požadovaných v normě ČSN EN 13706-1 k označování a pro stanovení specifických požadavků v normě ČSN EN 13706-3. Zkušební metody, stejně jako tolerance pro pultrudované konstrukční profily, pokyny pro kvalitu a její zabezpečení jsou rovněž uvedeny.
