Tento dokument specifikuje postup pro stanovení odolnosti zálivek proti rozlitému palivu výpočtem změny hmotnosti po ponoření do normového referenčního paliva. Měří se změna hmotnosti zálivek odolných proti palivu, aby se ověřilo, zda nejsou poškozovány do nepřijatelné míry vlivem styku s rozlitým palivem. Zkušební těleso se zváží a poté vloží do malé nádoby spolu s normovým zkušebním palivem. Tato sestava se následně po stanovenou dobu temperuje ve vodní lázni, poté se zkušební těleso vyjme z malé nádoby, vysuší a znovu zváží. Vypočítá se změna hmotnosti a odpovídajícím způsobem zaznamená
