Tento dokument specifikuje metodu pro stanovení rychlosti a efektivnosti neutralizačního potenciálu uhličitanu vápenatého, uhličitanu vápenato-hořečnatého a vápenato-hořečnatých křemičitanových materiálů k vápnění půd potenciometrickou titrací kyselinou chlorovodíkovou. Pro materiály k vápnění půd hrubší než 1 mm je zásadní upravit vzorek přesně podle postupu uvedeného v příloze A. Tato metoda je použitelná jen pro materiály k vápnění půd s maximální velikostí částic 6,3 mm. Typ materiálu k vápnění půd by měl být určen podle EN 14069 a velikost částic by měla být určena podle EN 12948
