Tato evropská norma stanoví metody pro zjišťování odolnosti textilií proti působené mikroskopických hub, jejichž účinky na textilie mohou být velmi odlišné a mohou působit na textilii přímo, kdy textilie slouží jako živná látka pro růst hub nebo nepřímo, kdy na textilii působí metabolické produkty hub. Tato norma se zabývá rovněž kombinovaným působením těchto procesů. Výsledky zkoušek se hodnotí vizuálně a měřením fyzikálních vlastností. Zkoušky jsou použitelné pro všechny textilní výrobky včetně textilií z celulózových nebo chemických vláken.
