Tato evropská norma stanovuje požadavky na konstrukci a zkoušení pružinových pojistných ventilů a ventilů s teplotní roztažností, které se používají ve stabilních tlakových nádobách na LPG, v tlakových nádobách na LPG na autocisternách, železničních cisternách, v cisternových kontejnerech nebo ve snímatelných zásobnících. Normativní příloha B popisuje zkoušení ventilů s kondicionováním při -40 °C pro použití při extrémně nízkých teplotách. Ventily navržené v souladu s touto normou jsou speciálně určeny k použití v aplikacích LPG
