Tato norma stanovuje specifické požadavky na barevné nebo bezbarvé anodicky oxidované povlaky na tvářených a litých výrobcích z hliníku nebo slitin hliníku určených pro styk s potravinami. Tyto požadavky zahrnují chemické složení lázně, utěsňování a vlastnosti vytvořených anodicky oxidovaných povlaků. Nezahrnují barviva a pigmenty, ale zahrnují kovové usazeniny vytvořené elektrolytickým barvením.
