Tento dokument (EN 14512:2006) byl vypracován technickou komisí CEN/TC 296 "Nádrže pro přepravu nebezpečného zboží" jejíž sekretariát zajišťuje AFNOR. Tato norma byla navržena pro odkazy do RID a do technických příloh ADR. Proto normy uvedené v normativních odkazech a pokrývající základní požadavky RID/ADR neuvedené ve stávající normě, jsou normativní, pouze jsou-li tyto normy uvedeny v RID nebo technických přílohách ADR. Tato evropská norma specifikuje požadavky na závěsná víka průlezů a hrdlové kroužky s otočnými šrouby pro používání na přepravních nádržích s minimálním pracovním tlakem větším než 50 kPa pro přepravu nebezpečného zboží po silnici a po železnici.
