Tato evropská norma popisuje metodu zkoušení pro orientační třídění odolnosti polymerních geosyntetických izolací vůči trhlinám způsobeným napětím. Zkouška je použitelná pro výrobky jejichž základem je polypropylen a polyethylen a pro všechny ostatní polymerní geosyntetické izolace, které mají částečně krystalickou strukturu. Metoda zkoušení, která je vhodná pro prokazování shody geosyntetických izolací s hladkým povrchem, spočívá v zjišťování doby porušení zkušebního vzorku, který je vystaven konstantnímu zatížení za přítomnosti povrchově aktivního prostředku, při zvýšené teplotě.
