Norma specifikuje technické požadavky pro průmyslově vyráběné desky (dřevěné desky, ploché vláknocementové desky, asfaltové vlnité desky nebo desky z jakéhokoliv jiného materiálu, který může být charakterizován jako jeden z těchto materiálů), které jsou používány jako podklad u konstrukce šikmých střech pro skládanou krytinou (např. tašky, břidlice).
