Tato evropská norma popisuje stanovení NOGE složek s více než dvěmi aromatickými cykly (NOGE se dvěma cykly odpovídá BFDGE = bis(2,3-epoxypropyl)ether bis(2-hydroxyfenyl)methan) a s nejméně jednou epoxy skupinou, stejně jako jejich derivátů obsahujících chlorhydrinové skupiny a majících molekulovou hmotnost menší než 1000 Daltonů v povlacích plechovek. Používá se vysoce účinná kapalinová chromatografie (HPLC) založená na reverzní fázi a fluorescenční detekci. Metoda umožňuje stanovení NOGE a jeho derivátů při minimální koncentraci 1 mg/ml roztoku. Přímá HPLC analýza extraktu povlaku plechovky může vést k obtížně interpretovatelným chromatogramům, z důvodu interference s dalšími složkami nebo nestability monomeru s následkem vzniku komplexní směsi derivátů a/nebo reakčních produktů. Nucenou hydrolýzou všech epoxy skupin a jejich reakčních produktů je kvantifikace NOGE zjednodušena a totožnost složek je indikativně potvrzena
