Tato evropská norma uvádí vlastnosti, požadavky a zkušební metody pro povrstvené plošné textilie určené pro mobilní, dočasně instalované stany a podobné konstrukce. Norma předkládá různé úrovně provedení (např. úroveň F1, F2, F3) pro každou vlastnost - nebo T1, T2, T3, T4 pro chování při hoření. Informativní příloha D poskytuje doporučení týkající se posouzení shody výroby. Informativní příloha C poskytuje doporučení týkající se odolnosti svaru. Tato evropská norma neplatí pro plastové fólie a jiný materiál než povrstvené textilie
