Tento dokument určuje metodu zkoušení pro stanovení oxidační stability při 110 °C paliv pro vznětové motory měřením indukční periody paliva až do 48 h. Metoda je použitelná pro methylestery mastných kyselin (FAME) určené pro použití jako čisté biopalivo nebo jako směsná složka pro motorové nafty a směsi FAME s motorovou naftou obsahující minimálně 2 % (V/V) FAME.

Preciznost zkušební metody byla vyvinuta pro konvenční motorovou naftu. Tato zkušební metoda je použitelná pro parafinická motorová paliva uvedená v normě EN 15940, avšak zvláštní prohlášení o preciznosti pro parafinické motorové nafty není k dispozici
