Tato evropská norma stanoví metodu zkoušení pro hodnocení odolnosti proti zašpinění a čistitelnosti u povrstvených textilií pro čalounění. Metoda stanoví postup pro vystavení zkušebních vzorků vlivu špinicího materiálu za daných podmínek, jejich čištění a následné vizuální hodnocení. Pro zašpinění se používají tři různé typy špinicích látek: a) pevná špína a barviva přenášená špinící textilií; b) vodní špína a c) olejová špína.
