Norma stanoví metodu měření mokré depozice s částí suché depozice benzo[a]anthracenu (BaA), benzo[b]fluoranthenu (BbF), benzo[j]fluoranthenu (BjF), benzo[k]fluoranthenu (BkF), benzo[a]pyrenu (BaP), dibenzo[a,h]anthracenu (DBahA) a indeno[1,2,3-cd]pyrenu (INP), kterou lze použít v rámci směrnice EU 2004/107/ES. Tato evropská norma stanoví charakteristiky, které musí tato metoda splňovat, aby byly splněny cíle kvality výsledků dané touto směrnicí. Metoda je vhodná pro měření depozice ve venkovských a odlehlých oblastech průmyslových i sídelních zónách v rozsahu od několika ng/(m2 . d). Obsáhlá přílohová část uvádí přehled kolektorů používaných v terénních podmínkách, postup úpravy a analýzy vzorků PAH, podmínky analýzy, charakteristiky zjištěné při laboratorních a terénních zkouškách a vztah mezi touto evropskou normou a základními požadavky směrnic EU.
