Tato evropská norma se používá pro stanovení fumonisinu B1 a B2 (FB1 a FB2) ve směsi krmiva v úrovních začínajících od 3 mg/kg až do 16 mg/kg. FB1 a FB2 se extrahují ze zkoušeného materiálu pomocí 50% roztoku methanolu ve fosfátovém tlumivém roztoku (PBS). Poté se extrakt zředí pomocí PBS a přečistí pomocí imunoafinitních kolonek (IAC). FB1 a FB2 se eluují z IAC pomocí methanolu a následně vody. Po nastavení objemu se eluát přímo nastříkne do HPLC a FB1 a FB2 se stanoví na základě jejich fluorescence buď před- nebo postkolonovou derivatizací
