Tato evropská norma specifikuje metodu pro stanovení decoquinátu. Tato metoda vysokoúčinné kapalinové chromatografie (HPLC) s fluorescenční detekcí je použitelná pro kvantifikaci obsahu decoquinátu v kompletních a doplňkových krmivech, medikovaných krmivech, polotekutých krmivech, premixech a doplňkových látkách. Metoda byla zcela validována od LOQ do 60 000 mg/kg na různých matricích ve společné mezinárodní studii, zejména na kompletních směsích pro drůbež pro kontaminační stopovou hladinu 3 mg/kg a evropskou povolenou hladinu 20 mg/kg až 40 mg/kg
