A1 Tato norma se zabývá články pro vázací prostředky, a to především z hlediska bezpečnosti. Předmětem normy jsou požadavky na kovaná nebo svařovaná ocelová závěsná oka, mezičlánky, soustavy závěsných ok a vázací články třídy 8 do 132 t WLL používané především pro vázací řetězy, ocelová vázací lana a textilní vázací prostředky určené pro zdvihání břemen, materiálů nebo zboží. Neplatí pro ručně kované články. Splněním požadavků této normy je zajištěna shoda s bezpečnostními požadavky směrnice pro strojní zařízení.
