Tato evropská norma specifikuje metodu pro stanovení boru, kobaltu, mědi, železa, manganu, molybdenu a zinku v extraktech hnojiv s využitím atomové emisní spektrometrie s indukčně vázaným plazmatem (ICP-AES).
Tato metoda je použitelná pro extrakty hnojiv vodou a lučavkou královskou připravené podle EN 16962 a/nebo EN 16964.
POZNÁMKA: Ve většině případů přítomnost malého množství organických látek neovlivní stanovení pomocí ICP-AES a není tedy nezbytné provádět odstraňování organických látek
