Tato evropská norma specifikuje metodu pro stanovení kobaltu, mědi, železa, manganu a zinku v extraktech hnojiv s využitím plamenové atomové absorbční spektrometrie (FAAS).

Tato metoda je použitelná pro extrakty hnojiv vodou a lučavkou královskou získané podle EN 16962 a/nebo EN 16964.
