Tato norma stanovuje chemické složení předslitin s mědí jako základním kovem, které jsou určeny pro výrobu, dezoxidaci nebo odsiřování slitin na odlitky nebo tvářených slitin, jejichž základním kovem je měď. Jsou dodávány ve tvaru ingotů, tyčí s vruby, desek s vruby, granulí nebo zlomků. Norma obsahuje postup odběru vzorků předslitin pro chemický rozbor k ověření shody s požadavky na chemické složení. V příloze je uvedena metoda stanovení oxidu chromitého v předslitinách chrom-měď .
