Tato norma přejímá anglický originál EN 29367-1:1993. Tato část ISO 9367 stanovuje minimální požadavky které umožní efektivní přivázání a zabezpečení silničních vozidel na palubách tažných nebo tlačných lodí a zvláště charakterizuje vázací zařízení na vozidle a použitou zabezpečovací metodu. Také udává v příloze A pro informaci konstruktérů vozidel uspořádání zabezpečovacího bodu všeobecně používaného na tažných a tlačných lodích v souladu s mezinárodními doporučeními Mezinárodní námořní organizace. (International Maritime Organisation - IMO.) Tato část ISO se vztahuje na typy silničních vozidel, definovaných v bodě 3.2. Nevztahuje se na vozidla pro cestující, autobusy, speciální vozidla nebo obchodní vozidla. ČSN EN 29367-1 (30 0045) byla vydána v květnu 1996
