Tento dokument stanovuje zkušební metodu pro stanovení struktury vzduchových pórů ve vzorku ztvrdlého betonu, který je provzdušněný. Struktura vzduchových pórů je popsána parametry, které jsou definovány v kapitole 3. Popsaná metoda je vhodná pouze pro použití na vzorcích ztvrdlého betonu, kde je přesně známé skutečné složení betonu a vzorek je pro tyto poměry mísení reprezentativní. Tento případ obecně nastane jen tehdy, když se příslušný beton vyrobí v laboratoři.
