účelem zajištění kompatibility mezi kolejovým vozidlem a systémy počítačů náprav stanovuje tato evropská norma metody měření a vyhodnocování emisí kolejových vozidel s cílem prokázání kompatibility. Stanovené meze pro kompatibilitu jsou definovány intenzitou magnetického pole, které může rušit detektory počítače náprav jako součást systému počítače náprav. V příslušném frekvenčním rozsahu detektorů počítače náprav má magnetické pole dominantní vliv a dále je uvažován jen tento typ pole. Zkušenosti ukázaly, že účinky elektrických polí jsou zanedbatelné, a proto nejsou dále rozvedeny
