Tato evropská norma uvádí metody k jednoduchému posouzení shody nízkovýkonového elektronického a elektrického zařízení pracujícího při kmitočtech mezi 10 MHz a 300 GHz s mezí vystavení elektromagnetickému poli. Pokud u takového zařízení nelze s použitím metod pro posouzení vystavení uvedených v tomto dokumentu prokázat dodržení příslušných požadavků na vystavení elektromagnetickému poli, pak je přípustné použít k posouzení shody další normy výrobku týkající se elektromagnetických polí
