Tato norma je částí z řady norem, které stanovují požadavky na vibrace, rázy, údery a seismickou odolnost pro měřicí relé a ochranná zařízení (s kontakty nebo bez nich). Tato norma obsahuje dva typy zkoušek vibracemi: zkoušku citlivosti na vibrace a zkoušku vibrační odolnosti a obecně se zakládá na IEC 68-2-6.
