Část 11-3 normy ČSN EN 60512 se používá, pokud to požaduje příslušná předmětová specifikace, pro zkoušení elektromechanických součástek v rozsahu působnosti IEC TC 48. Pokud to stanoví příslušná předmětová specifikace, může se tato norma rovněž použít pro podobné součástky. Cílem této zkoušky je popsat standardní zkušební metodu pro posouzení schopnosti součástek, aby byly skladovány a/nebo aby fungovaly předepsaným způsobem za podmínek vysoké relativní vlhkosti. Přejímaná norma sestává ze tří stran anglického textu evropské normy a 9 stran dvojjazyčného anglického a francouzského textu přejímané normy IEC.
