uvádí metody měření vlastností, které se používají ke specifikaci polykrystalických mikrovlnných feritů podle IEC 60392 a pro všeobecné použití ve výrobě feritů. Tyto metody měření jsou určeny pro výzkum materiálů, obecně nazývaných ferity, které se používají při vysokých frekvencích. Mezi tyto materiály se obvykle nezahrnují monokrystaly nebo tenké vrstvy feritů. Oblastí mikrovlnných frekvencí se označuje rozsah vlnových délek 1 m až 1 mm, hlavní zájem je soustředěn na rozsah 0,3 m až 10 mm.
