Tato mezinárodní norma se vztahuje na obrazové disky pro domácí použití, které odpovídají specifikacím IEC 60844, IEC 60845, IEC 60856 a IEC 60857. Jsou zde uvedeny vlastnosti ovlivňující technické parametry přehrávačů obrazového disku, stanoveny podmínky a metody měření těchto vlastností a prezentace výsledků měření.
