Tato mezinárodní norma specifikuje požadavky na regulátor konstantního proudu (CCR) se jmenovitým proudem 6,6 A , který je určen pro napájení sériových obvodů letištních pozemních světelných zabezpečovacích zařízení (SZZ) konstantním proudem. CCR však mohou být vyrobeny pro odlišné hodnoty příkonů (kVA) a proudové stupně než jsou ty, které jsou popsány v této normě za účelem použití v existujících obvodech. Norma by měla být aplikována na tyto CCR tam, kde je to vhodné.
