Norma je identická s EN 633:1993. Uvádí definice a klasifikace pro cementotřískové desky. Norma neplatí pro dřevotřískové desky s organickými pojivy, nebo dřevotřískové desky vyrobené se sádrovými pojivy. Poznámka: Dřevotřískové desky vyrobené s organickými pojivy jsou definovány a klasifikovány v EN 309:1992 "Dřevotřískové desky. Definice a klasifikace". Ve velmi stručné normě, která nemá typický charakter normy názvoslovné, se pojednává o deskách, pojených běžným portlandským cementem a magnezitem ČSN EN 633 (49 0014) byla vydána v dubnu 1996
