Tato norma stanovuje mechanické vlastnosti tvářených tenkých pásů pro výměníky tepla z hliníku a slitin hliníku. Mezní hodnoty chemického složení těchto materiálů jsou stanoveny v EN 573-3, pokud není dohodnuto jinak mezi dodavatelem a odběratelem. Označování tvářeného hliníku a tvářených slitin hliníku a označování stavů použitých v této normě je specifikováno v EN 573-3 a označování stavů materiálu je definováno v EN 515.
