Norma stanovuje rozměry řad spojení paličky a pánvičky používajících normalizované závlačky (viz souvislost s ČSN EN IEC 60372), aby se umožnilo sestavení izolátorů a kovových armatur dodaných různými výrobci. Tato norma platí pro závěsné talířové izolátory, závěsné tyčové izolátory a jim přidru-žené kovové armatury. U paličky a pánvičky platí rozměry pro hotový výrobek po provedení jakékoli povrchové úpravy. Krajní polohy paličky a pánvičky jsou uvedeny v příloze A.
