Tato norma platí pro tantalové elektrolytické kondenzátory s tuhým elektrolytem z vodivých polymerů, které jsou určeny pro použití v elektronických zařízeních. Tyto kondenzátory jsou hlavně určeny k montáži přímo na substráty hybridních obvodů nebo na desky s plošnými spoji.
