Tato část ČSN EN ISO 1167 specifikuje postup přípravy jak sestav s osovým namáháním, tak sestav bez osového namáhání, pro stanovení jejich odolnosti proti vnitřnímu hydrostatickému přetlaku podle ČSN EN ISO 1167-1. Zkušební tělesa, sestávající ze zvolených trubek, tvarovek, ventilů, spojených svařovanými nebo lepenými spoji tak, že vytvoří sestavu odolnou tlaku, se kondicionují při stanovené zkušební teplotě a poté se tato zkušební tělesa vystaví podle ČSN EN ISO 1167-1 vnitřnímu hydrostatickému přetlaku po stanovenou dobu nebo do porušení zkušebního tělesa (zkušebních těles).
