Tato norma specifikuje rozměry pryžových a plastových hadic a minimální a maximální vnitřní průměry dovolené pro každý rozměr hadic. Pro tyto účely jsou hadice rozděleny do čtyřech typů podle výrobního postupu. Norma také stanoví mezní úchylky délek úřezků pryžových a plastových hadic pro průmyslové použití a automobilových hadic. Tato norma je určena pro odpovídající předmětové normy na hadice, pokud nejsou uvedeny jiné rozměry hadic nebo pokud hadice těchto rozměrů nemají jiné vnitřní průměry.
