Tato část ČSN EN ISO 16474 specifikuje metody expozice vzorků světlem xenonové lampy v přítomnosti vlhkosti s cílem reprodukovat účinky klimatu, k nimž dochází, když se materiály v prostředí jejich skutečného konečného použití vystaví dennímu světlu nebo dennímu světlu filtrovanému okenním sklem. Vzorky se v regulovaných podmínkách (teploty, vlhkosti vzduchu a/nebo ovlhčení) vystaví filtrovanému světlu xenonové lampy. Ke splnění všech požadavků pro zkoušení rozdílných materiálů lze použít různé typy xenonových lamp.
