Jedná se o část 3 systémové normy, která specifikuje požadavky na vícevrstvé potrubní systémy. určené pro rozvod horké a studené vody uvnitř budov bez ohledu na to, zda se jedná o vodu pitnou (domácí systémy) nebo pro vytápěcí systémy. Je referenční předmětovou normou a je určena pro vícevrstvé tvarovky určené pro tyto systémy a jejich spoje. EN ISO 21003-3 uvádí tvarovky svařované, lepené a mechanické pro řadu provozních podmínek a výpočtové tlaky. Norma také specifikuje parametry pro metody zkoušení citované v této části EN ISO 21003. Polymerní materiály použité pro vrstvy navržené jako odolné pro určité výpočtové (konstrukční) napětí mohou být: z polybutenu (PB), polyethylenu odolnému zvýšené teplotě (PE-RT), síťovaného polyethylenu (PE-X), polypropylenu (PP) a chlorovaného polyvinylchloridu (PVC-C).
