Tato norma předepisuje dvě metody stanovení dílčího a celkového čísla kyselosti polyesterových pryskyřic a pojiv pro nátěrové hmoty. Metoda A se používá pro stanovení dílčího čísla kyselosti a metoda B pro stanovení celkového čísla kyselosti. Volné kyseliny a anhydridy se stanoví titrací roztokem hydroxidu draselného buď potenciometricky, nebo v přítomnosti barevného indikátoru.
