Tato norma je českou verzí evropské normy EN ISO 5457:1999. Evropská norma EN ISO 5457:1999 má status české technické normy. Oznámení o schválení: Text mezinárodní normy ISO 5457:1999 byl schválen CEN jako evropská norma bez jakýchkoliv modifikací. Tato mezinárodní norma stanoví rozměry a úpravu předtisků výkresových listů pro technické výkresy ve všech oblastech průmyslu a stavebnictví, včetně výkresů zpracovaných počítači.
