Tato část ISO 9073 stanoví metodu pro zjišťování ohybové délky netkaných textilií. Výpočet tuhosti v ohybu netkané textilie z ohybové délky je dán rovnicí. Metodu nelze aplikovat na vrstvené materiály (kompozity nebo lamináty), které mají sklon ke zkroucení. POZNÁMKA - Tato mezinárodní norma stanoví zkušební metodu specielně pro netkané textilie. Další mezinárodní normy platné pro textilní, papírové, plastové, kaučukové nebo jiné materiály lze rovněž používat pro zkoušení určitých charakteristických znaků netkaných textilií
