Norma je identická s EN ISO 9664:1995. Oznámení o schválení: Text mezinárodní normy ISO 9664:1993 byl schválen CEN jako evropská norma bez jakýchkoliv modifikací. Předepisuje metodu stanovení meze únavy lepidel ve smyku při tahovém namáhání na standardních zkušebních tělesech za předepsaných podmínek. Cílem je charakterizace konstrukčních lepidel na daném kovovém adherendu s definovanou povrchovou úpravou. Únavové vlastnosti jsou funkcí geometrie zkušebního tělesa. Výsledky se nevyjadřují individuální vlastností lepidla a nemohou být proto použity pro namáhavé práce. ČSN EN ISO 9664 (66 8513) byla vydána v říjnu 1997. Nahradila ČSN 66 8513 ze 7.11.1962
