V1.4.1 Tato norma stanovuje minimální požadavky na rádiové vysílače a přijímače VHF pracující na palubách lodí v kmitočtových pásmech přidělených námořní pohyblivé službě, používané na vnitrozemských vodních cestách definovaných regionálními dohodami nebo zodpovědnými správami. Platí pro vysílače a přijímače VHF vybavené vnější anténní zásuvkou nebo konektorem 50 , používané na palubách lodí na vnitrozemských vodních cestách a pracující v pásmech mezi 156 MHz a 174 MHz přidělených námořní pohyblivé službě Radiokomunikačním řádem. Pro země, kde je povinný systém automatické identifikace vysílačů (ATIS), platí požadavky přílohy B
