V1.1.1 Tato norma platí pro jednoúčelový mikrovlnný spoj krátkého dosahu 2,45 GHz určený pro evropský dálkový datový komunikační systém pro automatickou identifikaci vozidel (AVI) na železnici. Tato norma je normou výrobku pokrývající různá drážní zařízení, u kterých přenos dat systému bude aktivní jenom během přítomnosti vlaku. Tato norma pokrývá pevné instalované dotazovače (TU) a odpovídače (pohyblivé stanice). Při určitých měřeních jsou odpovídače měřeny dohromady s celým dotazovacím systémem. Tato norma je určena k pokrytí ustanovení článku 3.2 Směrnice 1999/5/EC (R&TTE).
