V1.1.1 Tato norma pokrývá posuzování digitálních buňkových (s více nosnými, IMT-2000) zařízení základnových stanic a souvisejících přidružených zařízení "3. generace", pokud jde o elektromagnetickou kompatibilitu (EMC). Technické specifikace vztahující se na anténní vstup/výstup a emise ze vstupu/výstupu krytu rádiového zařízení (základnová stanice (BS) a opakovače) nejsou v této normě zahrnuty. Tyto technické specifikace lze nalézt v příslušných normách výrobků pro efektivní využívání rádiového spektra. Tato norma specifikuje použitelné zkušební podmínky, posuzování funkce a funkční kritéria digitálních buňkových (s více nosnými, IMT-2000) rádiových zařízení základnových stanic a souvisejících přidružených zařízení "3. generace".
